Alert, sever weather report: If you’ve thought Miami hurricane season was bad, you ain’t seen nothing yet. 50 cent can make it rain for days, because he is a true business man with stacks on deck! Movies, Vitamin water, G-Unit and lawd knows what other investments he has. That’s simply to name a few. His most recent venture or investment has been the creation of Sleek by 50 headphones, which is distributed by a company called HNCI. Well, 50 recently got some of his 3.8 million Twitter fans to invest a penny in his HNCI stock this past weekend via a simple Twitter message. Consequently, his stock price rose by $.29, and presently the stock has further risen to $.39 a share. According to Business Insider:
“Earlier we noted that shares of HNHI added $50 million in market cap today thanks to tweets from 50 Cent aka Curtis Jackson.
Obviously he’s being compensated. How much? A LOT.
This SEC filing shows that he owned 30 million shares. Seeing as each one gained $.29 today, that’s nearly $10 million for one weekend of tweeting.”
Never knew The Game was in G-Unit in the past, and apparently he want’s to rejoin. However, it doesn’t look like 50 is down wit dat. It’s obvious that once he drops you from the group, you history (*cough, cough…Young Buck) to him! Check out their tweets below:
Former G-Unit member, Young Buck, should have stayed on 50’s good side, because he still woulda had ample money to make it rain or better yet, make it storm, if 50 didn’t kick him out the group and black-ball him. Buck is so broke that the IRS had plans to auction off his things in attempt to try to collect the $164,000 that he owes in his taxes. Luckily, a few days before his fur coats, Santa Clause figurines and weed pictures were supposed to hit the auction, his lawyer had an order put in place to stop the sales. His lawyer took further action by filing for bankruptcy and stating that Buck would sell $638, 500 worth of real-estate to acquire the money owed. However, Buck is now so upset that he plans on suing the IRS for the raid that took place when they were confiscating his property for the auction. Buck claims that the raid and seizure of his things, which included a snack machine and games, resulted in emotional distress, which is now causing him to have a lack of “creative juices,” when it comes to writing new music. He is seriously asking for $25,000, but according to The Wall Street Journal’s blog the IRS doesn”t believe his “emotional distress” claims.
“the IRS also doesn’t buy the rapper’s attempt to tie the success of his work to the missing assets, questioning the necessity of having ‘Royal Copenhagen bear figurines’ and the afore-mentioned soda machine and games around in order to write hip-hop tunes.”
