Beyonce recently revealed a new dazzling photo of her boo-baby, 1-year-old Blue Ivy Carter, who looks like a perfect mix between Beyonce and Jay-Z. Thank goodness for that! If she just looked like Jay….oooo Jesus! Nuff said!
This photo was actually shot during the filming of her HBO “Life is But a Dream” documentary, but don’t get too excited and think she’s going to show you the goodies on a regular basis. She recently told E! News:
“I will still be protective and make sure [Blue Ivy] has a childhood and a great time.At some point, you know it is what it is, you can’t control it anymore. But I know as long as I’m the mother that I know I can be and the mother I have—such an incredible mother—my daughter’s going to be fine.”
Honey Bee also recently got “Life Is But A Dream” tatted on her foot! How exciting (sarcasm)!
Whhhhaaaaaa? YAH, U HEARD ME RIGHT! According to Michelle Williams it’s a lie or “uncomfirmed rumors.” Awww well, let’s see if Beyonce can make up her fake national anthem performance at the innauguration celebration and actually sing live! I know she ain’t no boo boo the fool, especially since she likes to appear to be flawless, so I’m pretty sure she won’t be using a recording this time!
Ok, this song has definitely got an old school 90s beat (and if you know me then you know i’m crazy in love with 90s), but this song just didn’t really do it for me. This is the song Destiny’s Child will be performing during Beyonce’s 2013 superbowl half-time show in New Orleans.
I got a little excited when I found out that Beyonce would also use her half-time show to perform with Destiny’s Child, who we certainly haven’t heard from in a while, because for some reason I was thinking it would consist of the original DC 4…Letoya Luckett, Latavia Roberson, Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland. I think I got this crazy idea, because two days ago I read an article saying that ever since Beyonce fired her father as her manager, when asked if she would ever work on another project with the original DC members she apparently said “Yes.” Now that’s something I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see, and I’m sure Superbowl half-time ratings would be through the roof for that. But back to the subject! Mrs. Bee will be peforming February 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. This will be the first time since 2002 and following Katrina that New Orleans will host the Superbowl. Beyonce will be performing, during the later part of her half-time show with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams. Apparently, they will be premiering their new single called “Nuclear” which will appear on their new album, called Love Songs, that will include 14 singles from DC’S albums ranging from 1997 to 2004.
p.s. don’t be suprised if Jigga makes an appearance as well!
BLUE IVY CARTER’S 1ST BIRTHDAY!
Also since were on Beyonce and have a lot to cover about her, apparently Blue Ivy Carter’s first birthday was last week, January 7th, and in honor of their first child they made it rain on that very blessed child. $200,000 was supposedly spent on the party, $80,000 for Ivy’s diamond encrusted barbie doll, $95,000 for pink and white roses, $30,000 on costumes for Ivy’s friends and parents and a delicious cake worth $2,400. When your as filthy rich as Jigga and Bee, that kind of money is more like chump change or like spending a mere $200 out of your hundreds of millions. I wouldn’t mind trading places with Princess Ivy for a couple of days!
BEYONCE’S UPCOMING “LIFE IS BUT A DREAM” DOCUMENTARY!
ALSO Bee has a documentry she produced about herself, called “Life Is But A Dream,” premiering on HBO Saturday February 16 @ 9 pm. In the documentary she attempts to connect with fans by sharing many intimate aspects of her life, especially footage of her pregnancy and sonogram (obviously to try and prove to disbelievers that she was indeed pregnant). It doesn’t look very interesting to me….but you guys enjoy. Check out the trailer below.
Beyonce recently did a unique photoshoot, dedicated to famous nigerian activist and musician, Fela Kuti. In this unique photo shoot she rocks West African inspired clothing and a black face with tribal paint under her eyes, on her lips and face. However, the black face that she wore in the shoot has fueled some anger amongst African American’s sensitive to the racist black face that took place in the early 1900s, in white films and shows. MSNBC and Huffington Post are two major news outlets that have criticized B’s shoot. Personally, I don’t think the photoshoot was a big deal. It doesn’t appear to have any racist tones in it. I feel like if they painted her completely black, gave her huge or swollen red or white lips, and put her in a clown suite, then I would be offended. Just art….ppl need to stop trippin.
